Lifter is Bruce Sato’s main mask, which he wears as the driver of Rhino. It lets him control gravity and raise things off the ground whatever they weigh, and the fan wiki points to The Plant Show, where he lifts Rhino itself. It is one of the most used masks in the first season, running from The Deathstone to Raiders of the Orient Express.
A small continuity detail is that in the first episode the beam is pale green, while in later episodes it appears as golden rings. Wikipedia’s character list describes an anti-gravity field, and Matt-Trakker.com uses the word levitate.
Kenner first packed Lifter with Rhino. The Dynamo release comes later, and Wikipedia says the mask in that box is called New Lifter and makes a holographic double. Our Dynamo record lists a plain Lifter Mask, so the naming is another place where the toy listing and the encyclopedic lists differ. The fan wiki also says the original color guides called the mask Penetrator, which is the name the Buddie Hawks mask now carries.
