Alex Sector, codename Megabyte, is the team's computer and communications specialist and a British zoologist who owns a pet store. Brendan McKane voices him. The Kenner Alex Sector figure shipped with the Boulder Hill playset, not a vehicle.
Alex Sector handles computers and communications for the team. A reference list describes him as British, a veterinarian and the owner of an exotic pet store. Another site puts it as a computer and communications expert and zoologist. The cartoon’s opening spells his first name Alec, which is why both spellings are in circulation. Brendan McKane voices him, and also voices Miles Mayhem, Floyd Malloy, Jacques LaFleur and Nevada Rushmore.
His mask is Jackrabbit, which allows flight, and it goes with a battle-truck version of Rhino, the systems commander’s seat. In the racing season he gets The Collector, a tollbooth that becomes an attack installation, and the Disruptor mask, which jams radio transmissions.
The Kenner figure is the more unusual piece of his history. The first series packed him with the Boulder Hill playset alongside Buddie Hawks and gave him no vehicle of his own.
In the cartoon he appears in Everglades Oddity, where a Seminole boy named Osk asks him to help free a friend trapped inside V.E.N.O.M.’s fake space shuttle. He frees the boy and contacts Matt Trakker.
