The Collector is a toll booth. Alex “Megabyte” Sector uses it as his own vehicle, and it transforms into an attack installation, which a collector guide calls an armored bunker.
Kenner released it in Series Three in 1987. The listed features are a gatling gun, an armored barrier, mortar cannons, a radar dish and flight turbines.
Sector wears the Disruptor mask. Wikipedia says it disrupts radio transmissions, and the collector guide describes it as simulating radar interference. Sector is the team’s computer and communications expert, a British zoologist whose civilian job is veterinarian and exotic pet store owner.
In the cartoon The Collector debuts in episode 67, the same episode as Goliath and Buzzard. Sector’s other role in the toy line is as the systems commander in Rhino with the Jackrabbit mask, and his figure came with the Boulder Hill playset. Brendan McKane voices Sector in the cartoon. Wikipedia and the collector guide agree that the toy is a toll booth. Only their descriptions of its battle mode differ.
