Cliff Dagger, codename Blaster, is V.E.N.O.M.'s slow-witted eyepatch-wearing demolitions man, a convicted arsonist. He drives the Jackhammer, a black Ford Bronco that becomes an assault vehicle, and wields the Torch mask, a flamethrower. Mark Halloran voices him.
Cliff Dagger is V.E.N.O.M.’s demolitions man. A reference list calls him slow-witted, a convicted arsonist and a skilled bare-knuckle boxer, and he wears an eyepatch. A fan site lists him as a general goon. Mark Halloran voices him.
His vehicle is Jackhammer, a black Ford Bronco that becomes an assault vehicle, with the Torch mask, a flamethrower. Jackhammer is in the first episode and the first Kenner series, packed with his figure. A later item, Thunderball, an anti-aircraft gun disguised as a holding tank with the New Torch mask, was planned for the last Kenner series and never released.
In the cartoon he is seen at Solaria Park, where Jackhammer is only a getaway car. In The Deathstone he chases the scientist who recorded V.E.N.O.M. stealing a meteor. He and Sly Rax also drive a V.E.N.O.M. tractor trailer in Vanishing Point.
