Hocus Pocus is Brad Turner’s main mask and the one that does the most outright deceiving in the cartoon. Once it is switched on it projects a hologram of whatever the wearer wants to the point he is looking at, and the fan wiki admits it is unclear how the show decides what the hologram looks like, offering the guess that something converts mental images into projections.
The best-known use is in The Book of Power, where Brad’s hologram fools V.E.N.O.M. into thinking Boulder Hill has been destroyed, and The Sacred Rock gives the mask a cameo as the thing that saves the day. The fan wiki lists it in a long run of first-season episodes, from The Deathstone to Raiders of the Orient Express.
It came with Condor in 1985 and with Bruce Sato and Brad Turner in a 1986 two-pack. Brad’s second mask is Eclipse, which goes with Razorback.
