Gulliver is Calhoun Burns’s mask, usually worn as pilot of the Raven helicopter. It shrinks or enlarges any object or person, himself included, and the name is a nod to Gulliver’s Travels, the Jonathan Swift novel in which the hero visits the tiny Lilliputians and the giant Brobdingnagians.
The cartoon turns the power into a punchline in The Scarlet Empress, where Calhoun fires it by accident at the end and shrinks a giant statue that a passing bird then carries off. The fan wiki lists nine episodes, and Disappearing Act, in which V.E.N.O.M. shrinks cars, is one of them.
Kenner packed Gulliver with Raven in 1986, with the Arctic Assault adventure pack and with Julio Lopez and Calhoun Burns in a 1986 two-pack.
