Notes

Series Four (Split Seconds) is dated 1987 to 1988 on Wikipedia, which we follow. Wikipedia names the mask New Streamer; one collector guide lists it as Streamer.

Fireforce is a Pontiac Fiero, a 1987 model according to Wikipedia, that splits into a glider craft and a three-wheeled attack motorcycle. Its driver is Julio “Doc” Lopez, the team’s physician and cryptography expert.

Kenner released it in the Split Seconds series, with the usual extra translucent Computer Image figure. A collector guide lists a sliding hood, a sunroof, a glider wing, a turbo thruster and a bumper bomb.

Lopez’s mask is New Streamer. The original Streamer fires sticky glue bands, foam or an oil-like substance, and the new version also creates a holographic clone of Lopez.

Fireforce did not appear in the cartoon. Lopez’s earlier Kenner vehicle was Firefly, an orange Volkswagen dune buggy from Series Two. Wikipedia notes that the Split Seconds line came out a year after the animated series had ended, and Graeme McKenna voices Lopez in the cartoon. Lopez’s figure was also sold in Europe in a paired release with Calhoun Burns.
