About This Figure

Wikipedia dates the Split Seconds wave to 1987 to 1988. US packaging was redesigned for this wave while European releases kept the earlier red box. Renamed Jackal in Europe.

Barracuda is V.E.N.O.M.’s motorcycle that splits into a rocket glider, ridden by Bruno Sheppard and his translucent Computer Image double. The box includes two Magna Beam masks and two laser tracers. Bruno drove Stinger in 1986, so this is his second vehicle. The European release is documented under the name Jackal. The laser tracers are small and likely to be missing, and the clear second figure is the other thing to check on a loose set. Match the name on the box to the region when listing one for sale.
