Wildcat is the vehicle of Buddie “Clutch” Hawks, the team’s master of disguise and a mechanic in civilian life. It is a red Ford F-350 tow truck that turns into a vertical fighting machine.

Kenner released it in Series Three in 1987. A collector guide lists concrete cannons, a disc launcher, saber saw blades, opening doors, an energy blaster, a tow hitch and a cab that pivots and tilts through 360 degrees.

Hawks wears the Ditcher mask, which gouges wide trenches into earth and rock.

In the cartoon Wildcat debuts in episode 66, the first racing episode. Hawks’s other toy appearances include the Penetrator mask, which he uses as co-pilot of Firecracker and sometimes as pilot of Hurricane, and his figure came with the Boulder Hill playset. Mark Halloran voices Hawks in the cartoon, and his specialties are intelligence work and disguise. The truck debuts in the same episode as Bulldog and Iguana.
